Located in Chalet Village, The House of the Rising Sun is nestled on the side of a mountain with AMAZING views of Mt. Le Conte and close to all the action.  On top of the BEAUTIFUL VIEWS, this spacious 2 bedroom luxurious and cozy chalet has high-speed WiFi internet, a hot-tub and a pool table.   When you walk in, you are welcomed with a 20’ wall of windows that are filled with views of Mt Le Conte.  Both upstairs and downstairs are open floor plans.  Upstairs, you will find a luxurious kitchen with all your cooking needs, plus seating for four at the dining table and another six at the huge granite kitchen island.  There is also a living room area with a sleeper sofa, two chairs, fireplace, and smart TV.  Wake up from a restful night of sleep in your king-sized bed upstairs, open the curtains, and you will see the sun rising over the Smokies! 

Walking downstairs, you will be greeted by the game room with a pool table, another sleeper sofa, and smart TV.  The downstairs bedroom has two queen size beds and a view of the surrounding woods and some of the mountain views peeking through.  The laundry room with a washer and dryer are also downstairs. 

Both upstairs and downstairs have identical sized 300 sq ft decks.  The upstairs deck has a 6 ft long, porch height table with 8 chairs so you can relax, eat dinner, and play board games without a spoiled view from the railing.  You will find a hot tub on the downstairs deck where your mountain views are still visible.   

From Memorial Day to Labor Day, guests have access to 3 Chalet Village swimming pools.  Come enjoy the Smokey Mountains in this relaxing, luxury cabin.  (please read rental agreement when booking).  Winter weather will cause icy road conditions.  The drive to the cabin is steep in areas so a 4-wheel drive vehicle and/or a vehicle with chains is recommended.  The driveway provides flat parking for 2-3 cars.

AIRPORT: McGhee Tyson Airport in Knoxville is a 1 hour 15 min drive to our cabin and is the recommended airport to fly into if you’re coming to the Smokies.

Rates & Availability

Cancellation Policy: One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. Fifty percent (50.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 14 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 14 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
